Everyone’s got a cage, some just choose not to live in them and actor Deyemi Okanlawon is one of them.

The actor took to his Instagram moments ago to share the inspiring story of how he left his well-paying job as a Head of Marketing in one of the top five E-commerce companies in Nigeria to follow his passion.

He took the leap without knowing what the future held. All he had was a dream to become the best actor the world has ever seen.

Watch the video below.

What do you fear? What has in your past or is presently caging you from facing your destiny? How did you or how do you plan to overcome these fears? Post a video, tag me and include #UNCAGE & #deyemisgiveaway… I’ll be inviting 10 people whose stories I find interesting on a fun hangout this weekend! ? . When I got a call to talk about my fears, I laughed. That question is as simple as it is difficult. What is my biggest fear? Hmm. I sat down and thought, really really hard. And the answer was again, as simple as it was difficult. . I remember quitting my job in 2013, working as the marketing manager with one of the top 5 e-commerce companies in the country. It was great. The pay was great. I was great. But you see, when destiny and purpose pulls you, you have to face your fears and push through. You have to stare uncertainty in the eyes and jump right in. And that was what I did. I stepped out of my ‘known’ and moved to the ‘unknown’. I took a plunge and faced my fears. I quit my ‘safe’ job to pursue a full time career in acting. . Now I aim to get to a point where I set humongous goals and forget to fear. In fact, we should all aim for that, that point where we see fear, know it is coming yet forget to be afraid. Forget to be afraid of whatever keeps us from purpose, from destiny. I’m learning every day to #UNCAGE my fears!
